Fernley Ambassador's Breakfast with guest speaker Lyon County Sheriff Brad Pope

Please join us for our weekly Fernley Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors networking breakfast event this Tuesday, February 21st at The Fernley Art Center. Doors open at 7:00AM. We encourage everyone to arrive early so you are checked-in and seated by 7:30AM. As always, EVERYONE is welcome to attend our weekly Fernley Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors" Networking Breakfast meetings...…even if you are not yet a member.

This week's speaker is:

Lyon County Sheriff Brad Pope

I grew up in Henderson, and left Southern Nevada when he was 21 and went to work in Ely State Prison in 2002. I liked the feel of a small town. I moved to Yerington and started with the LCSO in 2005 as a patrol deputy.  After two years, I went to narcotics and I did a pretty good job and I was promoted to sergeant. I went to the jail, and then they sent me back to narcotics to transform the unit into a special investigations unit. I remained there until former Sheriff Frank Hunewill was sworn in in 2019. I was reassigned to the Patrol Division until January 3rd when I was sworn in as your Sheriff. I am also  Yerington High School’s head football coach.

There will be Fernley Ambassadors to personally greet you at the front doors of The Fernley Art Center and guide you through the check-in process. The check-in table will feature 4 Fernley Ambassadors to assist you with the check-in process, including 50/50 raffle tickets, Bragging Bucks, etc.

Non-Chamber members are welcome to attend and learn about the many benefits available to you, your business or your organization as a Fernley Chamber of Commerce member.

If you are a business owner/operator, we strongly encourage you to bring a Door Prize for our raffle ticket giveaways at the end of the meeting. It will allow you and your business to maximize your exposure at the event.
